Danganronpa Intro Card Builder

INTRO CARD BUILDER is a free, unofficial character intro card creation tool inspired by the visual presentation of the Danganronpa series. Create customized intro cards using your own portraits, character names, and color palettes, and arrange the layout as you see fit. Cards can be exported as a PNG and presets can be saved and imported as a JSON.

HOW TO USE

1. Extract the zip to your preferred location, and launch IntroCardMaker.exe

2. Utilize the options on the left side of the application for customizing the card. You can import an image for your character by drag and dropping the file onto the application or pressing the "Drop image here" button under "Portrait. Fonts can be imported in a similar manner.

3. Once you are done, scroll to the bottom and select "Export PNG".

4. If you want to reuse your customization in the future, select "Export Preset" to export your settings as a JSON file. Later, you can  select "Import Preset" to import these settings exactly as you had them set.

MISSING FEATURES

1. Despite minor animations being utilized in the software, the result is only able to be exported as a PNG. Support for GIF or WebP exports may be added in the future to supplement these animations.

2. Backgrounds are currently limited to a set of pre-made motifs such as the gun cylinder and lacks significant customization besides colors and enabling/disabling existing features. Further customization for the background may be added in the future.

3. Intro cards can only be made in one resolution, 1280x720. Further customization of the resolution may be added in the future.

USAGE AND PERMISSIONS

This software is provided free of charge for personal use. You are welcome to use the software for your own projects. I do not claim ownership of any original characters, artwork, or other materials that you import into the software.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to any images, fonts, characters, and other content you use, and for complying with any applicable rights-holder policies.

Permission to use this software does not grant permission to use intellectual property belonging to third parties.
